A simple and welcoming house
Casa Masover is a farmhouse with modern facilities and it is a pioneer in rural accommodation in the Manyanet Valley. It can accommodate up to 15 guests over 8 rooms (see facilities), each with an en suite bathroom and a beautiful view of the mountainous landscape of the Manyanet Valley. It also features a sitting room with bar service, where you can enjoy a game of cards after dinner, chat or watch television surrounded by a friendly and homely atmosphere.
There is also a conference room available for groups and enterprises, equipped with a television.
All those who would like to have a complete rest, Casa Masover invites to the Restaurant. There you can taste the excellent cuisine of the Pallars region with its typical dishes and local products such as the girella (lamb sausage), confitat (pork preserve), trinxat (smashed cabbage and potato stew with bacon) among many other recipes that we have got back and reinvented.
Farmer for a day...
In addition to enjoying the quietness, the nature and the landscape of one of the last unspoilt valleys in the Catalan Pyrenees, you can also join us in the daily activities at our farmhouse, what is known as agritourism. The youngest members of your family can visit the garden, see the rabbits, hens, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, and of course the cows that are our farm’s main stars, since we are the Bruna dels Pirineus cattle breeders in our high mountain fields.
We invite those who love getting up early to join us in milking or feeding the cows, and if you come in winter and are lucky, you may be able to witness the birth of a baby calf.
The starting point for a lot of activities
During your time at Casa Masover you can find a wide range of activities such as: hiking or trekking, MTB trail trips, 4x4 tours and horseback pursuits. Our Vall de Manyanet horse-riding centre offers a great variety of activities and routes as well as box stall renting for your own horse. Our box stalls are rented per days or weeks so that you can enjoy your holidays with your own horses.
We can also arrange for you visits to the main places of interest in the region.
